Use an SSH key instead of a password
More secure and faster: you connect without typing a password.

Create a key on your computer
In a terminal, run this command and press Enter at each question (you can set a passphrase to protect the key).
ssh-keygen -t ed25519 - 2
Copy the public key
Display the public key and copy the whole line. Never share the private key (the file without .pub).
cat ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub - 3
Add it to your account
In Account → SSH keys, paste the key and give it a name. It will be installed on every new server, and used by rescue mode.

Add it to an existing server
For a server you already have, this command copies your key to it (you type the password one last time).
ssh-copy-id root@203.0.113.10 - 5
Connect without a password
From now on, the usual SSH command connects you directly.
ssh root@203.0.113.10
